Radiography 101 publishes educational material for students and imaging professionals. Our goal is practical learning support, not medical advice or a replacement for clinical supervision.
Who Creates the Content
The site is maintained by radiography educators and technologists with clinical and teaching experience. Articles are written for students, reviewed against established radiography references, and updated when evidence or standards change.
Sources We Prefer
- Standard positioning and technique textbooks, including Clark's and Merrill's
- ARRT, CAMRT, PRC/RTLE and other official exam or competency documents when discussing exams
- Peer-reviewed literature, professional guidance, and regulator records for current or emerging technology
- Manufacturer/vendor material only when clearly identified and corroborated by independent sources where possible
Accuracy Review
Before publication, educational claims are checked for clinical plausibility, correct terminology, and appropriate scope. Numbers, technique details, and exam claims must be traceable to a named source or removed/qualified.
Corrections
If a reader identifies an error, we review the page, compare against current sources, and update the article when warranted. Send corrections through our contact page.
Independence and Monetization
Advertising and affiliate links help keep the site free. Monetization does not determine clinical statements, exam guidance, or source interpretation. Product links are selected for relevance to radiography education and are disclosed on the page.
